And now a dish that is prepared for the feast of All Saints Day and Christmas. Maybe a little bit risky, but... taste it and decide for your self!
SWEET MACARONI
(Doses up to 2 hg of pasta)
Ingredients:
- 1 / 2 kg of bread crumbs (not the one already packaged like flour!)
- 3 hg sugar
- 1 whole lemon grated and squeezed
- some grated nutmeg and cinnamon
- 1 hg unsweetened cocoa powder
- grated dark chocolate
- 6 hg of coarsely chopped walnuts
- liquor: alchermes + rum + Mistrà little (just enough to soften the bread)
- 1 cup of coffee
- 2 hg of hard wheat pasta (the best are the wheels)
Prepare the sweet sauce in a large bowl (to contain both the fresh sauce and the cooked pasta).
Cook the pasta in lightly salted water, drain and, still warm, combine it to the mixture, stirring repeatedly.
Add a few tablespoons of cooking water in order to make the process smoother and keep them in refrigerator all the day long.
